About the National Health Support Program
The National Health Support Program (NHSP) is an integral part of the Government of Sindh’s strategic efforts to reform and enhance the province’s healthcare system. The program is financially supported by the International Development Association (IDA), a branch of the World Bank, and is aimed at improving healthcare outcomes, strengthening health services, and ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare across Sindh.
The program is managed and implemented by the Program Management Unit (PMU), which operates under the Sindh Health Department. The PMU’s mission is to oversee various health reforms, enhance infrastructure, strengthen healthcare delivery systems, and provide technical support to key health initiatives.
