According to the notification issued by the Finance Department, Sindh, dated March 10, 2025, the government will release the full pay, allowances, and pensions for March in advance, with the payments set to be made on March 21, 2025, instead of the usual April 1 payment date.
The notification specifies that this advance payment will apply to all employees and pensioners of the provincial government of Sindh, including those from work-charged and contingent paid establishments. The government’s decision is in accordance with the holiday season and aims to ensure that employees can meet their financial needs for the upcoming festivities. Punjab Government Advance Salary and Pension Announcement
Similarly, the Punjab government has also decided to release salaries and pensions in advance for its Muslim public sector employees. On March 12, 2025, the Finance Department of the Punjab government issued a notification confirming that the salaries for March 2025 will be disbursed on March 26, 2025. The advance payment will be provided to Muslim government employees and pensioners, as per the Punjab Financial Rules.
This decision was approved by the Governor of Punjab in line with the province’s commitment to easing the financial burden of employees during the festive season. The notification makes clear that this disbursement will apply to Muslim employees only, as Eid-ul-Fitr is a religious observance for the Muslim community. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Government: Early Salary Payments
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has also announced an advance payment of salaries and pensions in light of Eid-ul-Fitr. According to an official statement issued by the government, all Muslim public sector employees in KPK will receive their March salaries by March 20, 2025, instead of the usual April 1 payment date.
The KPK government also mentioned that pensions for retired government employees will be disbursed on the same day, March 20, to ensure that pensioners can also make necessary arrangements for the upcoming holidays. Balochistan Government Salary and Pebsion in Advance Before Eid-ul-Fitr
The Government of Balochistan, Finance Department, hereby approves the payment of salary, allowances and pension for the month of March 2025 under Note-4 of Rule-217 of Federal Treasury Rules, Volume-1. The payment will be made on March 24, 2025 instead of April 1, 2025, to benefit all government employees and pensioners across the province before Eid-ul-Fitr.
