Educational Qualifications Required
For SST (BPS-17)
- 16 years of education: Master’s or equivalent degree (16 years) in the relevant subject.
- Professional Qualification: B.Ed / M.Ed from an HEC-recognized university.
For TGT (BPS-16)
- Bachelor’s Degree (14 years) in the relevant subject.
- B.Ed is mandatory, obtained from an HEC-recognized institution.
Age Limit
- SST Posts: 22–30 years + 5 years general age relaxation = up to 35 years
- TGT Posts: 20–28 years + 5 years general age relaxation = up to 33 years
Age Relaxation Rules
- 3 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan, and Tribal Areas.
- 10 years for disabled individuals.
- 5 years for government servants with at least 2 years of continuous service.
- 5–15 years for retired armed forces personnel, based on service years.
- 5 years for widows, sons/daughters of government servants who died during service (after 2005).
